Geocache Description:

Come and join in a fun filled weekend at Ogden Group Camp on Paulina Creek in the Deschutes National Forest.

Activities include a nacho feed on Saturday evening, campfire both nights, cache hunting (80 caches within a 20 mile radius-two caches up the trail from the campground), caching raffle after dinner on Saturday. Everyone bring 2 items to be placed in two ammo cans to be included in the raffle, plus some t-shirts and other cache related items.

I have reserved group camp B in the Ogden Group Campground. Ogden Group Campground is located South of Bend and North of La Pine just off the road to Newberry Crater. It can hold up to 200 people and several RVs and lots of tents. Please bring any outdoor tables you might have, the campground only has a few. The campground has vault toilets and water. Fishing nearby in Paulina and East lakes. Kids can play and cool off in Paulina Creek which runs through the campground. Bring your mountain bikes to ride the trail up the creek. Paulina Creek has several waterfalls and natural waterslides which are great to swim in. More information will be provided about the creek trail and waterfalls at check-in.

Friday August 20th: Arrive and check in after 2:00pm and set up camp.
Saturday 21st: Caching and activities to be announced later. Nacho feed at 6:00pm with raffle to follow. Campfire after dinner.
Sunday 22nd: CastIron Challenge by Shotgun for breakfast and checkout by 2:00pm.

Check-In: After you arrive and find a good campsite, go to Or-pingman's camp and receive a packet of nearby caches, free raffle tickets for Saturday, name tag, sign the log, drop off items for "raffle caches".

If you can't stay overnight or all weekend, come and spend the afternoon on Saturday the 21st. Please bring own table service for dinner on Saturday and breakfast on Sunday.

You are on your own for all other meals, except dinner Saturday and breakfast Sunday.

Travel Bug Exchange: Lets see how many Yellow Jeep TB and other TB we can get to this cache.

Cost is $5.00 per family to stay overnight for the campground and $2.00 per person for the nacho feed.
