There really isn’t parking near Kauffman’s Distillery Covered Bridge which is officially Big Chiques #1 Bridge. Although there is a descriptive sign for the bridge (see gallery), all areas around the bridge appear to be private property. Stay off the grass and respect private property. THE CACHE IS NOT CLOSE TO THE BRIDGE.
The cache is located near some parking for one vehicle a little uphill from the bridge. You can park there. I’ve been backing into the space. No need to go over the guardrail or into the field. Be careful with small children and pets, but the cache is not beside the busy road.
