Geocache Description:

This a place of beauty that gets abused.

As we were driving around today, testing out the new Jeep we came up on this sight that had an astounding view of nature at it's best. Then as we approached we noticed that there was a fire pit still smoking and no one around. As we pulled up, we noticed that it had been left to burn. Ironicly there was a mud hole full of water 6 feet away. So we grabbed one of the half burnt beer cans and watered down the fire, also we threw the smoldering logs into the mud hole. We had also noticed that there was lots of other trash around, 2 grocery bags full. And then as I was admiring the veiw off to the east, I notice that there had been some major garbage driven (or hopfully pushed) off the cliff. We deceided to Put an emergency cache here to help patrol the area. Or at least Bring more traffic of other interest.
We put a half dozen Cashe In / Trash Out packs, with other things we could find, in an ammo can. And left it behind a stump.
Ironicly again as soon as we had the area secured and was about to pull out, D spotted a doe walking down the trail as if she was thanking us for our help.
This is a well used ORV trail so please park off to the side. The trail continues on up the hill and back down the other side of the mountains. At least if you are in a proper vehilcle. getting to the cache by vehicle will need slightly more ground clearance then an escort. But you can park below a bit if you don't want to chance it.
