Geocache Description:

This multi-leg cache is located in Bassett Park in Amherst NY. Open 6:00 am - 10:00 pm

I’m reclaiming my old stomping ground in a big way! Oh, if these trees could talk! It could be down right compromising, but my reaquainted old friends will keep all my secrets secure. This isn't the first hide in this really great little park. I was actually surprised, but glad to see that it wasn’t being utilized because I know this place VERY well and felt I was obligated to offer it up & recycle it for you guys. Although when I was younger (when I became notorious as the madmann in these parts), this park was much larger and lots more cozy. The Youngs Rd extension and all the new developments weren’t there yet and the park, which bordered a x-mas tree farm and undeveloped wilderness to the east, essential extended clear to Transit Rd, but they have managed the spare the best parts. These legs will take you to variously interesting micro forest environments (for some muggle protection) in a spacious park setting with beautiful scenic vistas at any time of year. So try to see it during the day if you can (lol yoyo w/the APD, ya dark park stalkers;)

All we are going to say about what you are looking for is that they are a bunch of classic forest micros, with some innovations that we’ve been wanting to test. Some are easy and some are not so, but you’ve seen them all before (hell, you guys taught me!). We’re not out to stump you, just give you a nice workout and a bit of a challenge. Although this may be a bit more challenging in the snow, it is very winter accessible. And, if planned right, it'll probably give you the chance to bump into other cachers as well. The coords are solid and will take you to the obvious spots so that you can depend on them. We tried to place these with the ‘golden rule’ in mind. And one more thing, there are not too many defined walking trails, not that they are needed, but lots of dog walkers always seem to pop up out of nowhere. You can be seen from all over, especially during the day, you'll see, so watch out! Good luck, hope you have as much fun with it as we did putting it together, I only wish I could try it now!

At the final, you will find $350,000.00 in 'cache'. The first one to find it will become VERY RICH (at least by 1963 standards). It is not as secluded as a typical final, so stealth & discretion is warranted. The contents of 'cache' container also includes park related items and a cool FTF TROPHY!

FTF:) Dayo&Laura (AKA Dr. Evil)

FTF v2.0:) tucci's team and arrowhawk
