An event to celebrate the delivery of a Travel Bug to the International Space station.

Astronaut Rick Mastracchio will deliver the bug and will use it as an educational tool to help teach students around the world about geography and provide other educational lessons. The mission is currently scheduled to launch from Kazakhstan at 4:08 GMT on November 7, so he should be well setltled in the space station by the time we meet up. Every geocacher who attends a Geocaching Event on November 6 or 7, 2013 will be awarded a “Geocaching in Space” souvenir.

Meet in the car park at the above co-ordinates at 7pm on Thursday 7^th November. Hopefully it will be a clear night and the stars will be out.

Please come dressed as your favourite astronaut ….. only joking! Wrap up warm though and we will provide some special refreshments to keep you a little bit cosier too.
