Geocache Description:

This cache is placed in honor of CC54636. Congratulations to CC for finding more than 1000 caches.  He and his fiance Kris have also hosted some great Christmas parties for geocachers. In fact, this well-stocked container was a prize I won at this year's Team Bag Christmas Party.

The container is a peanut butter jar with some camo tape. Kids will like this container full of colorful swag and there may be trackables that are ready to travel. It is a winter-friendly cache near the Dresbach Rest Area. If you dislike the weeds, it may be helpful to follow a little trail down to the shore area and then make your way back up toward GZ. Have a Merry Christmas all year round. I hope you enjoy this cache!   By the way, I noticed that there have been more "ornaments" placed on the LaCrescent shoe trees as I drove past there.  If you have never seen the shoe trees, you may want to take a look as you travel West on Hwy 61 from LaCrescent toward I-90. There is a place to pull over and park if you want to. But you can't get to it if you are traveling East toward LaCrescent - you have to be going West.
