We recommend starting at the 123rd Ave parking area just out of Gary New Duluth, off of Becks Road. Follow the SHT markings up to the Munger Trail and head east until the SHT breaks off and goes uphill. The markings are easily noticed all the way up. Stop to see all the amazing views , we spent hours up here. Cache should be available in the winter but could freeze into position at times. Bring your own pencil...
Please be extremely careful hiking up this trail! There are dangerous ledges and loose rocks. Bring water and allow enough time to complete the hike. The trail goes directly over the tunnel on the railroad grade below, be sure to check that out sometime as well.Have a great time and thanks for your interest in our caches.
