A chance to check your GPS
The cache begins at a brass cap marker in the sidewalk. It says “City of Grants Pass” on the marker. The coordinates above are exact. The elevation is 1130.6 feet. I received the coordinates from a local surveyor. (Actual survey coordinates are n 42° 27’ 55.28242” w 123° 20’ 01.378561”). I asked the surveyor for a place where I could check my gps and this is where he sent me (by the way the gps is on it’s way back to the factory for an “adjustment” as I am writing up this cache).
The registration number on the brass cap is ABCD your final coordinates are North 4A° AD.CBC, West BA3° B9.747. The numbers are small but readable. If you have problems reading them email me.
