This cache is placed at a spot that overlooks beautiful Snow Lake in the Central Cascades near Snoqualmie Pass.
This is a traditional cache using an ammo box container. Initial contents include a log book, a camera for taking a self pic and treasure items. The initial treasure items included a $1 casino chip from Resorts International in Atlantic City NJ, a small turtle from Little Cayman, string, matches w/firestarter and 5 bouncy balls.
The expected approach is to park in the Alpental ski area parking lot and take the Snow Lake Trail ( No 1013 ) towards Snow Lake. It's 3 miles and 1300 feet elevation gain to Snow Lake. The cache is off the trail about 2.5 miles out from the parking lot.
