How Geocaching Works
small hills to flat wetlands. This is an easy trek IF you stay on the paths. Some areas are swamp and 99% under water.
This area has nearly 300 acres of wooded to wetlands including beach and sand dunes. It is owned by the Manitowoc Public School District and is located on the shores of Lake Michigan just north of Point Beach State Forest. The forest is used by students and bans firearms, fires, drugs and alcohol and best of all there is no fee or charge for using this wildlife area. You will see deer, fox, turkeys, waterfowl, and many other nature sights unique to this woodland. This is a two part multicache; the first being a pill vial directing you to the final ammo box with a log. The contents have been replaced 4/10/2009 as the cache had been damaged over winter.. Safer and wider area to park is N44 14.432 W087 31.110
