Come enjoy the peaceful side of the Montpelier park. This is a traditional cache (.30 cal ammo box) located in Montpelier park, not on private property. Do not try to attempt this cache at night because the park closes at dusk and Hanover County's finest patrol the park. The cache is easy to walk to, but it is located near a busy road, so keep an eye on the little ones. You must park in the park to attempt this cache, not on neighboring private property.
Montpelier Park is located 14 miles west of Ashland at the intersection of Beaverdam Road and Route 33, this 50 acre park includes walking trails, soccer fields, lighted softball field, and the Montpelier Community Center. Future plans for expanding the park include more walking trails, improvements to the existing soccer fields, and a paved play area.
