Geocache Description:

Last weekend, a few members of the BACON crew decided to head out after midnight to hide a multi on the BFT. While stocking the cache at SilverHorse's house, he came across a book that he was done with and decided it would make good swag. I only had one chapter left in the book I was reading, so I decided to snag it and give it a read before it made it's way into the geocaching world.

Later in the night, my mind wandered into the past and I recalled a hike from the days shortly after I discovered geocaching. One of first fifty or so caches was a book sharing cache on the BFT called Pennsylvania Book Repository. My kids and I hiked to it on a cold, windy day and traded for a children's book. Not only did we get an excellent cache hunt, we got to take a children's book home and enjoy it as well. From my experience, kids that age don't remember very many things from 2+ years ago, but our adventure on the BFT that day has stuck in their minds.

Well, it's time for another book trading cache. In honor of Papaprr's cache of a similar nature, we bring you Butler Book Repository.

To make trading convenient, this cache should be a quick, easy find and it's only about 250 ft. from the closest parking. If a short hike is desired, the parking area on Bonniebrook Rd. will increase that distance to around .4 miles each way.

As mentioned above, this is a book trading cache. If you take a book, please leave a book. Cache is a 50 caliber ammo can, which fills up real quickly when books are put in, so please try to keep the swag to books only. Travel Bug and Coins are welcome of course.

PS. I'm a sci-fi fantasy buff so I'll be watching for books of that genre :)
