Geocache Description:

Cache is Tab-Lock box 16cm x 10.5cm x 5cm

From Clough going South turn left at end of the village towards Ballykinlar and Tyrella. Take the first road on the right - Ardilea Road. Park on the Ardilea Road at the first layby, near a short railway bridge. You'll see a sign for Lecale Way. The Lecale Way follows the footsteps of Saint Patrick from his landing place on the shores of Strangford Lough near Raholp, around the coastline to Newcastle within the Lecale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Owned by National Trust but managed by local council. Walk up the (sometimes slippery) steps onto the path and turn towards the mountains.
This path follows the bed of the former Newcastle - Downpatrick railway track, along the Western edge of Inner Dundrum Bay. It's a scenic walk especially if you go when the tide is half in. Look carefully and you may spot Little Egrets (brilliant white) on the mud and even a kingfisher. In winter you'll get wigeon, curlew, lapwing, redshank, dunlin and brent geese amongst others.
Watch out for the dog dirt though!
Cache contained when hidden:
2 balloons, a yo yo, bubbles, a highlighter, a glue stick and a pencil and logbook. Plus a travel bug - Lucky Duck.
