This cache is on the Raccoon River Valley Bike Trail. This cache was placed during the construction of what is considered the 'North Loop' which is 33 miles. Once the 'North Loop' is completed then the entire loop will be 72 miles long. This may happen as late as the fall of 2012.
There is currently 56 miles paved from Clive all the way to Jefferson. Bucknuts, NVG and Redheadedbasset did a Century Ride during the summer of 2011 from Waukee to Jefferson and back.
I'm sure hubby 'bucknuts' will be riding the 72 mile loop often once it gets completed.
