Geocache Description:

Locateted at the site of a now defunct bridge crossing over the Loosahatchie River. All that remains of the bridge are the support columns.

I found this locale while attempting to find a Confederate fort,Fort Harris, that was near the mouth of the Loosahatchie River on Chickasaw Bluff #3. I never was able to get close enough to close my quest. You can drive right next to the cache although I chose to leave my car behind and walk in. I don't know when the bridge was built or abandoned.
