John Bunyan Denton is the founder of our fair burg and the county's namesake.
He had a wicked long beard.
Bring take-out and drinks and a lawn chair or blanket, if you choose, for an evening of geocaching fellowship and dining al fresco on the square.
Gather at 7 PM under the SE corner pecan trees.
An abundacne of eateries on the square accommodate you in choosing a delicious dinner and desert, or just bring something from home.
Clearly, ol' Johnny will not be dining with us...nor will he provide an enthralling and riveting conversation. The old man will not require the comfort of a chair.
I have no prevailing data regarding the wickedly state of his beard.
