Geocache Description:

Located in Shoreline Community Park this is an easy cache in a quiet neighborhood. WiFi access nearby.
The location given above is for parking.

The cache is located at N47 46.321 W122 23.165

This park is located on the site of the old Richmond Beach School. Originally built in 1924, it provided classes for grades 1 through 12 until 1945. The school then continued on as a grade school until 1971 and was later razed to make room for the park. The most recent addition to the park is the new King County library which continues the tradition of learning at the old school site.

The cache is a very small ammo box which can be reached from a paved portion of the park. You do not have to wander off the path to find this cache. In fact, if you do wander off the paved areas it will be much harder to locate and ground cover foliage will be damaged! The cache contains cool new goodies.
