Klaus23's Farewell Challenge Event Cache

Klaus23, who originally founded the Irish geocaching community with the egroup is leaving Ireland to settle in the UK. We wish to send him off in style with a meetup.

We will be meeting at the above Coords at 8am sharp at the Leenane Hotel in Leenane, Co. Galway. From Leenane take the Clifden Road (N59) for 600 metres and you will see the hotel on the right hand side overlooking the harbour.

A few of us are going to attempt the nearby  If You're Gonna Be Dumb, You Gotta Be Tough cache. We will be departing for the walk at 8.45am from the Leenane Hotel. Please take note of the equipment required on the cache page. Forum member Madrarua has created a VRML model of Mweelera. It will let you explore the walk from all directions.To view you first need to install Cortona, the VRML browser plugin. After you've done that, click here. The easiest way to explore the VRML model is to click on 'study' and 'turn' on the left side toolbar.
