This cache is located in the Gilbertson Conservation Education Area east of Elgin.
It's about .6 mile if you follow the trail. Somewhat hilly but not too bad. Bring Bug Spray!
It is in a small/medium sized lock lid container and contains the usual SWAG. Please log your visit.
Take some time to visit the Petting Zoo, Gilbertson Nature Center, Mavis and Conner Dummermuth Historical Building and Hart Dumermuth Historical House: Open Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day, Wednesday - Sunday, 11 AM - 7 PM.
Fish in the DNR stocked pond for bluegill, bass, crappie, rock bass, and catfish.
Your almost always sure to see wildlife in this area near dusk.

Please do be aware that this land is open to public hunting so blaze orange may be a good idea at times.
