Geocache Description:

Located off a graveled footpath. Normal Iowa woodland hazards. Not wheel chair accessible.

ANOTHER GAME PIECE IN DIGGER9’S MONOPOLY SERIES.

The Indiana Avenue Cache is hidden in a place that has a lot of nostalgia for me. This goes back to the days of my Amish youth. A footpath now leads through a wooded public area where a dirt road once was. One of the group games we sometimes played back then was called “Walk a Mile.” One moonless night we walked the entire length of that dirt road. It was so dark that you had trouble determining which of the girls you were walking with. At the far end was a one room school with a merry-go-round. We piled on it and got going so fast that it like to never stopped. Most of us were sicker than a dog afterwards, and we still had to walk another whole mile back home.

(Edit: 11/25/08) The cache has been upgraded to your standard D-Con container with a new (read: dry) log and room for few really small trinkets. It is about 20 yards from the footpath. BYOP.

(Edit: 11/6/09) Another update - Now a lock-n-lock with room for TB's.
