CITO at Bay Trees Park Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

SubRosa: Went by to see how the old cache was doing and found it spread to the four winds. The original container was missing, but the log and at least some of the contents could be salvaged.

Since this park has had tremendous work done on it, and it looks so much better than it used to, I think it's time to archive the CITO at Bay Trees.

I'll find another spot for a cache, and put the goodies I found today into the new container.

Thanks to all those who visited this site, and cached out some garbage.

Geocache Description:

Grab a CITO kit from this cache first then go get "The Balls of Bay Trees" micro. You can fill up one bag on the way, dump it and fill it one or two more times while looking for the micro.

This probably once was, and could be again, a really nice picnic site of this park. The amount of trash is astounding (especially beer bottles). This is a beautiful picnic area (once you pick up some trash), shaded, peaceful.The CITO cache has CITO kits inside (glove included). You can refill them at the CITO refill stations.The hike is easy until you get to the cache site. The site has some plant debris from recent servicing by park maintenance personnel. Look for the bat houses.
