Park to the right off Rt. 18 just past the scenic overlook. Go through the fence and start walking up the old road. Then choose. Either follow the road to the reserve fence but do not go through the fence as that's not allowed. Then turn left and follow the fence to the end. Keep going up and follow your gps 'till you get there. Or you could pick a point as you go up the road and hike more directly to it without going to the fence.
The cache is close to, but not on top. But if you want to you can continue up there pretty quick for a better view. You'll be in the black rocks and can look out to the red rocks.
