The Improvised Geocaching Device!
For the last year or so, since hearing the term "IED" -or- improvised explosive device, I've wondered how to do a geocache that is almost completely improvised. This is my first try at such a cache.
The process was this: With only a logbook and a single swag item ($5 bill) in hand, create a cache that is reasonable and at least a little bit interesting.
I found a spot in the desert where there were materials to work with and made a container, then found a hiding spot. The area could make a great CITO location for future years!
If anyone is intrigued by this idea, please feel free to try it yourself!
