Geocache Description:

HEDGEHOG MOUNTAIN
Don’t look for a Mountain just a moderate hill. It is the highest point in Freeport.

1.9 miles from the center of Freeport by road. Much closer as the crow flies.

From Main Street turn onto Mallet Dr. and go to the end. Turn left (as if going to Bradbury Mt.) Turn left on Hedgehog Mountain Rd. Just before the gate to the Landfill there is a parking space for about 4 cars.
You will follow the trails all the way. The sign is gone for the first turn. Follow the ledges to the south end. On the left there is blue paint about 6 ft. Up on the tree. Turn left here and follow the signs to the summit. (The turn is at about N 43 51 837 / W 070 07 661)
