The marina is open free to residents of Town of Babylon year
round. For nonresidents it is free from 10/11 to 5/12, and weekdays
5/13-6/19 and 9/6-10/10. All other times admission is $20(!). Be
sure to visit the Education Center if it is open. The cache is in a
decon box only a tenth mile from the parking lot. It contains a log
book and a few small trade items. Please be sure to place it back
properly.
UPDATE: For those of you wondering about the title. The cache is
located at the point where, for a long time, the pier just abruptly
ended. The more beauteous half of biopcd fought long and hard to
have the pier completed and, about a year ago it was. So I guess it
really should be renamed the "the pier to somewhere" but we thought
we would keep it as is for old-time's sakes.
