Intro to Geocaching

Learn everything you need to know to become a real-world treasure hunter including getting first-hand experience hunting for a cache at the library
Registration Required.
"Everything you need to know" is a bit of a stretch, but we will do our best to get you started with the basics of geocaching.
How, What, Where, When and most importantly - WHY!
This class will start in the library meeting room and move outdoors to hunt a few caches on current and future library grounds.
We will let the weather determine how long this will take.
Cachers of all (or NO) experience levels are encouraged to attend to add input, help out and tell stories!
You do not need a GPSr or Smartphone to. We will have phones with geocaching apps and several GPSrs with preloaded cache coordinates.
You do not need to be an Effingham City Resident to attend this class, but pre registration with the library (beginning Decemberr 15) is required.
