Geocache Description:

1st in a series of 6 Letterboxes.

Your entire journey of this 6 part series will take you on a 4.7km hike. Find the Letterboxes in order, which will allow you to hike the entire loop of the Great Esker Side Trail of the Bruce Trail.

Parking and trailhead can be found at:
N43 40.786 W79 57.989

Read the entire cache page to get the necessary information for finding this Letterbox.

The posted coordinates are not the location of the Letterbox, but within about 20 meters. The posted coordinates is the point on the trail (also possibly marked by a red piece of yarn) where you would turn 90 degrees to your LEFT and leave the trail in a perpendicular direction from the trail.
**Letterbox is in something that doesn't belong here.

Now look what you’ve done! Why did I ever agree to let you drive? We were doing just fine driving along the road. Nowhere did I say that you should turn in here. You think this is a road for cars? See that’s why there were a bunch of big rocks blocking the entrance, to keep cars out. Now we’ll be stuck here forever or perhaps even longer. Cars were built to drive on roads. Tell you what, since you got us into this fine mess, how about you go for a walk and find help, while I wait here by the car. But don’t take too long, ok? Are you listening to me? Now get moving. You better be quick about it too.

Somehow, I think I have been abandoned, along with what’s left of the car. I don’t know how much longer I can wait for help to arrive. This certainly wasn’t how I expected to spend my time. Perhaps I should go and see if I can find help myself. But there are so many different ways to go, and the area seems so big. What happens if I get lost? Then again, I already feel lost being here all by myself. I could just start walking and see where I end up. Or I could wait longer. Nah, I’ve waited long enough, time to see what lies in store for me. I am sure the car will be safe. Oh, there’s another car. I wonder what happened to the people who owned that car. Perhaps they made the mistake I did and let someone else drive.
