How Geocaching Works

Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer.

Geocache Description:

This cache is on what is today called Ryders Hill - but was known to the Perambulators of the Dartmoor Forest of 1240 as 'Battyshull' (visit link)
It is a lengthy walk from any direction but the views can be spectacular - e.g. Portland Bill may be seen.
The top is often populated by crowds of young Ten Tors participants so please use stealth if this is the case.
