Geocache Description:

Karura Forest is one of the largest forests in the world fully within city limits. It offers opportunities to enjoy a leafy green respite from the bustle of the city. Karura is a remant of the small-leaved forest that covered all of the Kenya highlands from Nairobi to the Aberdare moorlands. The western part is also known as Sigiria Forest. It has its own car park and entrance. Enjoy your walk

Park in the Sigiria Forest car park, off Thigiri Ridge Road. Non-members of the Friends of Karura Forest will have to pay 200kshs each, but you will also get a wonderful walk in a safe, green part of Nairobi. A map is available at the gate entrance, or you can link to the map below - and will give an indication of where the clue will direct you. The cache is hidden at the foot of a tree.
