Family Fun Geocache Day at Islands & Ocean Geocaching Event. This event will be held at the Islands & Ocean Visitor Center in Homer, Alaska. All trails are easy with little or no grade change.
Saturday June 20
12 noon Meet and Greet Session
1pm - 3 pm Geocaching Discovery Lab
Geocaching With An Experienced Geocacher
GPS units are available for loan or bring your own.
There will be daycaches set up for the event.
Afternoon Meet and Greet and Travel Bug Pickup.
Come meet other Geocachers, share your geocaching stories, trade those travel bugs and share your special geocoins here!
Help us get our travel bugs migrating!
We're looking for experienced geocachers to help teach beginners and families to geocache. We'd like to set up several day caches to practice, and will hold discovery labs that week on Wed, Fri, and Sat from 1pm - 3pm to learn more about geocaching and navigation.
