I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference (16-20).
“The Road Not Taken” Robert Frost. Mountain Interval. 1920.
From the parking area at the coordinates below, I invite you to follow the paved path that leads to a bridge over Oakdale Creek.
On the other side of the bridge, you will find a fork in the path. Instead of following the paved path to the right, take the road less traveled to the left “because it was grassy and wanted wear.” The “path” is mowed, level ground and is family friendly.
Enjoy the wide variety of trees in the mini-arboretum and have fun hunting the other caches in the area!
