Limbering Along in Waterton Lakes National Park Traditional Cache

Welcome to Waterton National Park!

Park at Pass Creek or the Operations Building. Walk across the Entrance Road and along Kootenai Brown trail to the Alpine Stables Road. Follow that until you reach the barn. Turn up and follow the horse trail. It may be difficult to follow the horse trail and find the cache now that snow has arrived. Not recommended in high winds.

This cache is one of seven caches that have been placed in Waterton Lakes National Park by Parks Canada. Download the passport HERE. Collect 4 stamps to earn a small prize. All the coins have been distributed. Geocaching is a new activity for visitors to Waterton Lakes National Park celebrating Parks Canada’s centennial year and demonstrating Parks Canada’s leadership in ecological management and restoration. Please pay appropriate park entry fees. As per the Parks Canada geocaching policy Parks Canada Geocaching Policy: Trade items are not permitted in caches, this includes Travel Bugs.

Stationnez à Pass Creek ou le Centre d’Opération. Marchez à travers la route d’entrée et long du sentier Kootenai Brown vers le Alpine Stable. Suivez le route jusqu’au grange. Tournez et suivre le sentier des chevaux. C’est peut-être difficile de suivre le sentier et trouvez la cache avec la neige. Pas recommandé dans les vents forts.
