A beautiful paddle to an island of trees in Nehalem Bay.
Not to be confused with Lazarus Island just to the south also in Nehalem Bay, Wheeler. Cache is only accesible by watercraft. Boat ramps are located in downtown Wheeler, at Tideland Road between Nehalem and Wheeler, and at the Nehalem Bay State Park. Cache is about a 1 mile paddle in from the Tideland Road ramp. Cache is in an ammo can about 50 yards in from shore, depending on the tide. Best time to go is at high tide, but any time is okay. A good place to "park" is N45 41.649 W123 53.508, give or take.
