This offset cache is located off a public footpath near Ridges Copse to the south of the Bourne Valley not far from the village of Smannell.
You can Park at N51° 14.775 W01° 26.616 which is just next to the footpath sign.
On entering the woods, head for the waypoint ( N51° 14.830 W01° 26.689 ) where you are looking for "MB" and a date AB/C/DE.
The final cache can be found at;
N51° 14. (C-D) , (B*E) , (B+D)
W01° 26. (B*E) , (C-A) , (C-A+D)
When you have decoded the final location, take the path to the north east.
The cache container is rather unorthodox. It once housed silicon chip wafers and is white so a little hard to hide.
The clue and cache sites are reasonably obvious however, the biggest problem will be getting a good GPS signal under the tree cover. The co-ords should get you to the right area and your cacher's eye should help you spot the hiding place.
This part is quite important : When you find the cache which is camouflaged using natural materials, please be very careful when recovering it as the materials are fairly fragile. You should only have to move one object which has been shaped by human intervention in order to retrieve the cache. When you replace it, please ensure that the box cannot be seen from any angle and throw a few leaves on top.
The distance is < 1km and the tracks can be muddy when wet. Should you need refreshments, a pub can be found just down the road at N51° 14.356 W01° 27.337
The woods contain a wide variety of flora and fauna.
