Event will be held at the Yankaurer's Nature Preserve on Saturday afternoon Nov. 1st at 1 pm. Event should only last about 1/2 hour or so. Parking is limited, so if can carpool.
We have had 5 other events like this and they have been met with great success. At the last event we had visitors from 8 states. Let's do it again!
This will be an educational event for those with a more adventurous spirit. Let's get together and share ideas on the proper preparation and equipment needed to go Geocaching in a CAVE!
This event is being held about .8 of a mile from the CAVE cache GC2MD1H . After this event, if there is interest, we can go try out our new skills. 
When spelunking, what equipment would be "nice to have", but more importantly what equipment would you never want to forget? What is proper spelunking ediqutte? What do you wear in a cave? What does a grigri do, what is the difference between a climbing rope and a static line? Which do you use in a cave? Please, bring your equipment for "show and tell".
All these topics and more will be discussed.
