Geocache Description:

The Event starts at DUSK

Imagine, if you will....

A peaceful October weekend of camping for BSA Troop 507 at nearby Richard Bong State Park. The weekend starts quietly enough, The boys have their camp set up, they're sitting around the campfire, spinning yarns and roasting marshmallows - but soon, the events of the evening turn frightfully disasterous indeed.

Something has happened to our beloved Scouts. The campsite is in shambles, the Scouts are injured. What (or who) could it be? Luckily, the Scouts of Troop 507 are talented in the administration of First Aid to their stricken buddies. Sort of handy since they're working on the Emergency Preparedness Merit Badge that weekend.

Won't you please help us? Please help us - please!?!

I anticipate the activities will take place around dusk. It'll probably happen near Group Campsite "D". I know it'll rain, so bring your raincoats and umbrellas!

It's a Halloween Themed Event, so come in costume if you'd like. Plan to be frightened as you search the woods for clues. Will you need a flashlight? Maybe, maybe not. Will my Scouts be in full camoflauge mode to "greet" you in the woods? Bwahahahaha!

There will be cobblers and other assorted Halloween themed goodies to munch on after the event.

This is a State Park, so park admission stickers (fees) are required.
