We had
so much fun last time and got such wonderful comments from all the
cachers that made it out so we want to do it again! The Rogues'
Hollow Historical Society was impressed by our group of geocachers
and welcomed us back.
Where: Rogues' Hollow Historic Park & Chippewa Nature Preserve
in Doylestown, OH
Date: Saturday October 10, 2009
Time: 3:00pm to
???
What:: Potluck with lots of S'mores and some night caching!
What to bring: Covered dish, a chair, flashlight, and any potential
cachers. Please note what you will be bringing.
Come enjoy food, S'mores, Doylestown caches, and fun! Hamburgers,
hot dogs, drinks, and table service will be provided. We'll try to
start eating at 4:30 pm. Sometime between 5 and 6 there will be a
short presentation at the Rogues' Hollow Historical Society museum
inside the Chidester Mill. Campfire to follow. (Hopefully a big
one!) We'll try to get some potential cachers there as it's always
fun to share our love of geocaching. Last time we had a gaggle of
children so children are definitely welcome. For those who haven't
made it down here yet there are some newer caches in this
wonderfully historic location.
There are 60 caches within 5 miles of Doylestown. Come and go as
you please! Feel free to come early and explore this secluded
nature preserve and grab some caches out this way too!
