September 10, 2009 by s32144 (2327 found) WOW, first time I was at this place and it is a beautiful area back there. The container was completely open and we assume someone must have found it during the festival last weekend and then threw it back under there. The log book is very damp but useable.

August 21, 2009 by MTMAN2 (2339 found) This was/IS a great treasure! I didn't know anything about the history of this area. The gate was still open at 4:30 and I just rode in on my BIKE. I met one of the Ohio Historical Park guides and obtained a good overview of the history of this place! I told her what I was up to and she knew about the cache-the Ohio Historical Society hid it anyway! The spring has a great cold high volume flow of water. It was also interesting to see the barn and buildings dating to 1808 and the Indian mound behind the barn. This was definitely a highlight of my GEOBIKING trip today - another reason I love geocaching! Found by BIKE ! TFTC! L - TBWOW! I didn't realize I was the FIRST person to log this cache this YEAR! This is really A GREAT PLACE TO VISIT! [This entry was edited by MTMAN2 on Saturday, August 22, 2009 at 11:45:42 AM.]
