Historic dry dock location where some boats and paddle-steamers were built.
The cache is a cliplock container with the usual mcToys, a log book, pencil and pen and a geocoin.
You can see great views of the Murray River (even though at the time of placing the cache it is in drought and it is mainly sand flats you can see). This bay was a good spot for a dry dock which is still here. In the 1970s the paddle boat Murray River Queen was built in the dry dock on Hindmarsh Island. It hasn't been used for many years and is overgrown with vegetation. There is an old ferry stored here.
