SOMNI DE CAP DE CREUS (CAP DE CREUS DREAM)
Entre la terra i el mar, el Parc Natural del Cap de Creus ens ofereix una diversitat paisatgística d’una bellesa incomparable.
Amb una superfície total de 13.843 hectàrees (10.780 de terrestres i 3.063 de marines).
La península del Cap de Creus, es troba a la part més oriental de la península ibèrica, a l’extrem mediterrani del Pirineu axial.
La península del Cap de Creus, està constituïda per roques d’una serralada que es va formar fa 400 milions d’anys; els terrenys són d’origen igni i sedimentari, posteriorment metamorfitzats, replegats i fallats, la riquesa mineral és enorme.
Les roques han estat deformades en fases i condicions diverses, per la qual cosa trobem franges de diferents materials com són els gneis, els esquistos, les pissarres…
Un fet importantíssim és la presència de la pegmatita; el Cap de Creus és l’únic indret del món en què aquestes roques afloren a l’exterior. Les reconeixereu pel seu color taronjós, i les trobareu majoritàriament entre els esquistos que són de color gris fosc.
Si hi afegim l’efecte de la tramuntana (arrauxat vent del nord) en aquestes estructures, apareixen formes d’erosió úniques i que han estat font d’inspiració de poetes, artistes i de la població local…d’això tracta aquesta troballa

The Cap de Creus peninsula is the easternmost point of the Iberian Peninsula, on the Mediterranean side of the axial Pyrenees.
The Cap de Creus peninsula is made up of the rocks of a mountain chain formed 400 million years ago. The rock is metamorphic igneous and sedimentary that then folded back on itself with the formation of the Hercynian massif. The mineral richness of the area is vast.
The rocks have been deformed during different phases and in varying conditions, which means that strata of different materials such as gneiss, schist, slate…are visible.
An extremely important geological characteristic of Cap de Creus is the presence of pegmatite. Cap de Creus is the only place in the world where exterior deposits of this rock can be seen. It can be recognised by its orange-white colour and is found mainly among the schist, which is dark grey in colour.
If we consider the effect of the tramuntana, the north wind that on occasions reaches speeds of over 150 km/h, on these structures, we can see that it has caused unique eroded forms that have been the source of inspiration for poets, artists and for the local population too.
