Geocache Description:

This is a small plastic container hidden in Islington Green.

Squeezed between busy Upper Street and Essex Road, Islington Green hosts a World War I memorial, a statue of Sir Hugh Myddelton, and numerous park benches, trees and flowers. It’s easy to relax here during the day and early evening hours, although the gates are locked soon after dark. A pathway runs straight through the park from the statue to the Waterstone's Bookstore on the other end, and there are many seating areas on both sides of this path. P>

You are searching for a small magnetic keyholder so bring your own pen or pencil. You will not need to leave the pavement to retrieve or replace the cache. Dogs are allowed in this park, so be mindful of where you step.

The cache is very near to a hut on the East side of the park

The park has just been renovated and has a fantastic stone sculpture on the North side.
