Opened in August 2014, this newly paved trail at the north end of Sunriver gives vacationers a great trail to ride your bike to Benham Falls or to the Lava Lands Visitor Center. Take a nice family ride to the falls and rack up geocache finds along the way. Or take the longer ride to the Lava Lands and visit Lava Butte for fantastic views of the surrounding area.
This cache is placed just a few feet off the paved trail, right near the trailhead to the national forest. Please make sure to re-place the cache so the next geocachers can enjoy this find. Hint #1 is it's not too far from the "Welcome to the Deschutes National Forest" sign. I guess you get that much from the coordinates :) See Hints for Hint #2.
