labyrinths were sometimes used in the middle ages as meditative
walks. this labyrinth was made several years ago by members of the
deer isle congregational church. a path wanders down through the
woods to the mill pond. there are benches and also a platform with
benches to sit on. it is very pretty and peaceful here. a great
place to sit and collect one's thoughts.
cache is an ammo box.
this is a very active church - please be mindful of that if
there are services going on when you get there.
