Geocache Description:

This cache is located in a quiet part of Turkey Swamp. When hiking through the swamp I sometimes stop here to rest and have a beverage. You will need hiking boots and pants as there are thickets on the way and if you approach from the north you will have to cross a shallow muddy creek. The quickest way to the cache is to park at the end of Iron Ridge road and make bee line for the coordinates. Unless it has recently rained any mud you encounter can easily be bypassed until you reach the creek where it might be eight inches deep.

The cache is under a tree that has fallen across the banks of the creek. It's the one that completely spans the creek. The cache is on the south side of the creek. The challenge is getting there, I don't want anyone wasting time turning over logs or putting theirs hands into holes risking the chance of a sting or bite.

In the box, the standard official Geocache type 8.5"x6" clear case, I placed some junk I bought in China. Help yourselves. In the box are also some pace counter beads that came from China. The beads are used to count your paces. A lady in ShangHai made them for me but I never got a chance to give them away until now. The beads are made of stone and look a little gay - not the Ranger's death head look but they did cost a pretty penny in China.
