Geocache Description:

An ammo can cache placed at the northern end of Pocahontas State Park, off of a little used fire road / hiking trail. Parking is available (fees apply) at N 37 24.172 W 77 34.696. The fire road / trail will get you pretty close before bushwhacking.

"I once was a giant sentinel which guarded the hillside, staring down and my old pal, the bent oak. But my time is near, and I have begun to crumble. I am a mere shell of my former self. I have but one purpose now - to guard this cache."

There is $3 in the log book bag for first finders' parking fee. If you already have a pass, then there is a metal hiker's whistle.
