Geocache Description:

During WWII the three polish submarines Sep, Rys and Zbik were interned here at Marielund.

At the outbreak of WWII a few submarines of the polish navy managed to escape from the attacking forces. After some days at sea they got their last order. "Go to England if possible, if not, seek a neutral country"
Three of those subs, Sep, Rys and Zbik spent a full year in Waxholm and were then moved to Mariefred to prevent an escapeattempt.
