Geocache Description:

Located at the Mud Bay Park & Ride lot off US 101 at Mud Bay Road (actually on Madrona Beach Road).

Cache is a travel bug only cache. Intent is to provide a local place to exchange travel bugs or deposit them and help them on their way to whatever goals they have. Please do not take a travel bug from the cache unless you have one to replace it with, or unless there are more than three in the cache. That way there should always be at least three TBs in the cache (cache started with three TBs). There are no other goodies in the cache for exchange. You are welcome to find and log the cache even if you have no TBs to exchange. Please hide cache well and use stealth since there is a lot of usage of this lot. Suggest you not try during morning and evening rush hour. Cache is a large Costco nut bottle painted brown. Water will intrude if left upside down, so please replace cache in upright position. Also, while you are there, the William Cannon Footpath which starts near the cache is a fine trail which provides intimate views of Mud Bay and some of its estuaries. Lots of wildlife to see, particularly around low tide. It takes about 10-15 minutes to make the loop.
