Geocache Description:

Off of the Valier Highway; turn to the Rock City Road outside of town; follow road beside a farmer's field go towards Rock City formations, then follow path to the right that leads to lone cap rocks.

Welcome to Rock City Cache!

These land forms to the west are actually called Cap Rocks.
Cap Rock are formed by water and wind erose. Notice the
banks of the river have cut a new path. This cap is one that my family and I like to visit. It is alone on the windy prairie, so it needs some company. Please remember that if you are doing activities like starting bonfires on someone else’s land, you may be destroying someone else’s life and income. Placed on 6/28/06, the year after my dad’s cancer surgery.

Container is a military first aid kit metal box with four clips. The some contents are a four stamped post cards, a cross necklace, a dream catcher, a worry stone, a couple of paper clips (just in case), a silk flower from my parents' wedding and a log book. This is a cache in my mom's honor, so please treat it with respect. The box tells a brief history of the cache's name. Thanks. Placed on 6/28/05.
