Chief Logan State Park, Buffalo Trail, moderate terrain
Cache is located along the Buffalo Trail. Park next to the Bocce
ball courts, and access trail from there. Stay on the wide trail
for easiest walking. Container is a plastic container with a blue
lid. Original contents include a log book and pencil, a poncho,
small deck of cards, crayons, first aid kit, a soccer hacky sack,
Chief Logan patches, and keyring lights. Don't forget to sign the
log book and hide the cache well to deter muggles.

July 7, 2009 by PilotJ (1399 found) We decided to do all the caches in Chief Logan SP in one day in order to make a run for the new Chief Logan Challenge. This one is number 5 in the park and we are getting into some serious hiking with UP. How interesting, we spotted our 3rd live turtle of the day. In 2008 we spotted about 8 empty turtle shells while out caching, so it was nice to see so many live turtles out hiking in the park today. Cache was in good condition. TN LN SL TFTC Pilot J & Crew

April 26, 2009 by Osiris67 (225 found) Found this one Sunday while hiking in the 90 degree heat. Nice hiding spot. We started at the office and hiked over to the cache, then up Backbone Trail to the top of the mountain and back down. A beautiful hike, but definitely would have been more fun if not quite so hot. The cache is in good shape. T - firestarter, L - a polished glass stone and tiny doll. TFTC

January 4, 2009 by MoparScout (140 found) I like caches like this. Great job and in an ideal location. There needs to be more caches like this. P&G's might add to the count, but don't add to the fun. Saw alot of wildlife while on the trail. The container you are using will someday leak and wet the contents. The cache also needs to be State Park approved.TFTC MoparScout
