Geocache Description:

This is the #7 'West-Bound'...'Mini-Cache' along Highway Service Centres and Picnic or Roadside Stops that I frequently travel and I am sure others would love to explore a little further too. The picnic ground access roads are usually closed to traffic in winter but open to the public.

  • ELLIS CHAPEL PHOTO BY 'geocite'.. front view, away from the parking lot.

This 'Service Centre' has a 'Picnic Ground' and another area for visitors, that I never knew was here until I began looking for an interesting place to locate the mini cache. There is a cemetery in memory to it's first settlers behind the restaurant that might be of interest to you circa 1803-1882. Another item of interest is 1861.

  • Knock knock...Who is there?
  • Cache......................
  • Cache who?
  • Cache right beside you.
  • that's enough clues
  • There was a 'McDonald' coupon for the first to find
  • Now wasn't that easy???

  • For more information to this 'Historical Site'.

  • A companion site to Ellis Chapel.

  • THIS IS A LINK TO.. 401 Toronto compass cameras.

NOTE:... These are more 401 SERIES 'SERVICE CENTRE' caches!!!

  • All are numbered opposite to each other except # 1 West and # 5 East
